be future leaders of the nation by offering them and their families
opportunities to address pressing topics affecting the lives of underserved
communities in Southern California and promote health equity for all.
SoCalYEA is primarily made up of youth members ranging from middle school
to undergraduate college. We focus on letting the youth take lead to develop
their leadership skills.

Develop Skills
Whether it be public speaking, writing, designing, teamwork, leadership, or other, SoCalYEA aims to help all youth to develop the necessary skills to become successful leaders. Even if you end up running for presidency, you can’t go wrong with having an impressive skill set.
Form Connections
Members of SoCalYEA aren’t just introduced to a singular nonprofit, but rather a growing network of various organizations and people. From other youth nonprofits to educational, government organizations, we can get you connected.
Get Experience
Empowering the future generations is more than just feeding them information. At SoCalYEA, members will get hands-on experience with different topics and learn how to take charge. Hosting events, fundraising, recruiting, even creating an e-magazine; these are all youth-lead projects at SoCalYEA.
Health and Wellness
Physical and mental health are both extremely important for overall well-being and quality of life. SoCalYEA strives to ensure that everyone is taking care of both aspects to live a happy and healthy life.
