Alaska the last frontier
Twenty-six years ago, I took my first trip to Alaska and I immedatly fell in love with eveything. Born in the PNW under the Sitka Spruce and the Western Red Cedars, I felt at home sailing in and our of the ports that dot Alaska and the inside passage. Twenty years later more or less I got to bring Tracy and her family to explore the "great land" or Alseksa in Aluet, the origional inhabitents of this land. Finally, this past summer 2024 I was able to bring more friends to Alaska and their families to this great area and realize our desire to explore the interior of this state and hopfully bring more awarness to the alaskan road trip
We're planning a four to six week "road-trip" adventure to expore the interior of Alaska, leabving from Oregon in Septermber 2025 on a 10,000 plus mile oddessey of discovery, knowledge and support to local communites and towns
Alaska 2025 Goals and Targets
- Drive 10,000 plus miles RT from Oregon putting our toes in the artic ocean
- Visit the remaining 7 national parks, we have visited Glacier Bay
- Study and explore the Geology of Alaska both in and out of academia
- Highlight and promote local communities, businesses and individuals who inspire the Alaskan spirt and motto "North to the Future
- Utalize our route and van to help local Alaskans while in transit
