Kino (Russian: Кино, meaning "cinema" or "film", pronounced [kʲɪˈno]) was a Russian rock band formed in Leningrad (now Saint Petersburg) in 1981. It was co-founded and led by Viktor Tsoi, who composed the vast majority of the group’s music and lyrics until his untimely death in 1990.

Over eight years, Kino released more than ninety songs across seven studio albums, along with several compilations and live recordings. During the Soviet era, their music spread widely through underground bootleg recordings known as magnitizdat, earning them a devoted following and a lasting legacy in Russian rock history.
