Takehiko Inoue was born on January 12, 1967 and is a well renowned Japanese comic book artist. He isbest known for his series Slam Dunk, Vagabond, and Real.

Inoue dropped out of college at the age of 20 in order to pursue a career as a manga artist. He has gone on to cultivate a successful career and has even created character designs for a video game, Lost Odyssey.
