I became an Eagle Scout on August 21, 2023. It was one of the best days of my life. After 12 years of Boy Scouts, I had finally eared the highest honor. I earned 26 merit badges, earned the gold and bronze palm, and camped nearly 50 nights. I have over 1000 years of community service, and have developed a passion for the great outdoors.

My Eagle Scout project involved building a nursery for the Turtle Rock Nature Center. I used to go there for their after school daycare and it was also home to my troop meetings. I felt a strong connection with the location and it demonstrated a need for this project.

We used over 25 people

The project took nearly a year to complete

I spent a total of 175 hours completing the project

I would do it all over again in a heartbeat.
