Good Kid, MAAD City |
Talked about Kendrick's early life growing up in
Compton and as the title suggests, he was just a good kid
living in a struggled environment. |
|
To Pimp a Butterfly |
This album is used by Kendrick to create an awareness on the black oppression
that still exists in America in a governmental level. Kendrick has a running
character, Uncle Sam, who is shown to be a manipulative character trying to get
black people to push themselves back in poverty.

Damn |
This album is used to explain Kendrick's view of the world and the emotions he feels
on a daily basis. It is meant to go against the grain and be different showing emotions
like love and loss rather than joy or anger.

Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers |
This album is used by Kendrick to show the trauma and change he has experienced
from his childhood to his current self. He is trying to show people that it is
ok to pursue a greater mental existence and put yourself first mentally.
