About George

George R.R Martin was born in Bayonne, New Jersey on September 20, 1948. He began writing at a young age. His first story "The Hero" was published in 1971. He also completed a M.S. in Jornalism from NorthWestern Universit the same year. He began his a career in Television, as a story editor in 1986. Since then he has completed many shows and books, earning various awards and recognition. Hopefully, he will get time to finish last two novels in A Song of Ice and Fire soon!
