There are currently two shows based on the Novels of George R.R Martin. He serves as an Executive Producer for both and they are released by HBO.

Game of Thrones

Game of Thrones premiered in April 2011 and ended in May 2019. It is an adaptaion of A Song of Ice and Fire. The ending of the series is it's own interpretation because the book series has yet to be completed. George R.R Martin wrote only four out of the seventy-three episodes that aired thoughtout its eight seasons, "The Pointy End", "Blackwater", "The Bear and the Maiden Fair", "The Lion and the Rose". My favorite characters on the show were Jon Snow played by Kit Harington and Tyrion Lannister played by Peter Dinklage.

House of the Dragon

House of the Dragon is based on George R.R. Martin's novel Fire and Blood. The novel is about the Targaryen Dynasty and their rule over Westeros. The show is a prequel set two hundred years before the events in Game of Thrones. The Targaryens are at war among themselves over the rightful heir to the Iron Throne. It premiered in August 2022 and the second season will be released in June of this year. The first season left with Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen declaring war on her half-brother King Aegon II, upon the death of their father. I am Team Rhaenyra a.k.a Team Black.
